Care Instructions

Frosted Cakes

Cake Cutting Guide.png

Cakes may be left on display at room temperature for up to 4 hours. Room temperature is less than 68 degrees Fahrenheit. If the cake will be enjoyed after the 4 hour period, leave it refrigerated until 1 hour before the event. Remove from refrigerator and let it warm up to room temperature on the designated table or on the kitchen counter. If you have a tiered cake, remember, cakes are heavy! If you are going to move the cake, be careful! Tiered cakes require a sturdy table that can hold up to 200lbs!

If you will be driving with this cake, be sure to place the cake, in the box, on the floor of your vehicle or in the trunk. Do not place the cake on the seat, as seats are not level which will cause the cake to shift and fall.

After serving, slice the cake using our cake cutting guide, pictured to the left, to receive the most servings per cake. If you do not enjoy all of your cake today, you may refrigerate it for up to 7 days from receipt of cake, saran wrapped or in a closed plastic or glass container. If you do not plan to enjoy the cake within the 7 days after receipt, for best results, you may wrap it in plastic wrap on the day of the event and place it in the freezer for up to 30 days. Be sure to cover the cake completely.

Mini Cupcakes

Mini, Standard & Deluxe Cupcakes

For best results, stage and display cupcakes at room temperature. Room temperature is less than 68 degrees Fahrenheit. If cupcakes will be on display at an outdoor event above 68 degrees, they should only be left outside for up to one hour, especially if the event is not covered with a tent.

Cupcakes may be stored for up to 4 days in the refrigerator before enjoying. If cupcakes will be refrigerated, we suggest wrapping the clam shell in plastic wrap completely to lock in the moisture.

If you received a deluxe box that includes chocolate covered strawberries, refrigerate your box until ready to enjoy. Strawberries should be enjoyed within 24 hours of receipt.
